What data do we collect? 

Our company collects the following data: 

  • Personal identification information (Child’s name, age, date of birth, school year, health conditions and allergies (if applicable), whether we have consent for photos and videos). 

  • Parent/Guardian contact information (Parent/Guardian's name, email address, phone number, etc.) 

  • Records on our staff, customers and visitors to support the NHS Wales Test, Track, Protect scheme. (Name, contact telephone number, date of visit, time of visit). 

 

How do we collect your data? 

You directly provide our company with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you: 

• Register via google form, email or in person for classes.

• Voluntarily completing a customer survey or providing feedback on any of our message boards or via email. 

• Complete a Test, Track, Protect google form. 

 

How will we use your data? 

Our company collects your data so that we can: 

  • Enrol your child into a dance class and manage your account. 

  • Email you with information on our classes, provide newsletters and get in touch with you regarding your child’s class and performances.

  • Contact you via telephone regarding your child’s class.

  • To strategise our class timetable. 

  • To provide to NHS Wales for the Test, Trace, Protect programme if necessary. The Test, Trace, Protect information will not be used by Flame Dance Studio.

How do we store your data? 

Our company securely stores your data on Google Drive. The Google Drive account has a 2 step verification process to keep your data secure. 

Our company will keep your personal identification information and parent/guardian contact information for the whole period that your child attends our classes. Once you have informed us that your child will no longer be attending, we will delete your data (unless otherwise stated) by deleting all data linked to you on Google Drive.
Photos and videos will be kept for marketing purposes unless you express your wish for us to delete certain images.

 

Marketing 

Our company would like to send you information about classes, charity events and performances of ours that we think you might like. 

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date. 

You have the right at any time to stop our company from contacting you for marketing purposes.

If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please email us to let us know. 

 

What are your data protection rights? 

Our company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following: 

 

The right to access - You have the right to request our company for copies of your personal data. 

 

The right to rectification - You have the right to request that our company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request our company to complete information you believe is incomplete. 

 

The right to erasure - You have the right to request that our company erase your personal data, under certain conditions. 

 

The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that our company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions. 

 

The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to our company's processing of your personal data, under certain conditions. 

 

The right to data portability - You have the right to request that our company transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
